What Mount Pleasant does to a window
Mount Pleasant glass has water on three sides. The Old Village, I'On, Hobcaw Point and the homes along Shem Creek face Charleston Harbor and the Wando River, and they take a damp salt haze off the water most mornings that leaves a gray film on the water side of the house. A nor'easter pushes a harder salt line well inland along Coleman Boulevard, and the boat traffic on Shem Creek keeps an exhaust film on anything facing the water.
Away from the water the oaks and pines take over. The Old Village, Snee Farm and the older lots off Mathis Ferry Road sit under live oaks that drop pollen for six weeks each spring and tannin after every rain for the rest of the year, and the shade keeps north-facing glass damp enough for mildew. In Park West, Carolina Park and the newer streets off Highway 17 the canopy is pine, most lots back onto a lagoon, the irrigation leaves a hard mineral line along the lower panes, and the lots still being built keep a layer of construction dust on the sliders and screens.
Harbor-front, creek-front and Wando River homes in the Old Village, I'On, Hobcaw, Dunes West and Rivertowne do best every two months. Inland homes in Snee Farm, Belle Hall, Park West and Carolina Park do well quarterly, with the inside glass done once a year either way. We keep vendor passes current at the gated communities and send a text the morning of each visit so the gate is expecting us.

Yes. We work in Dunes West, Rivertowne Country Club, Brickyard Plantation, Hobcaw Point and the gated sections of Park West and Belle Hall. Just add us to your gate list or tell us the procedure when you book.
Can you remove hard water spots from sprinklers?
In most cases, yes. Mineral spots from sprinkler overspray need a dedicated treatment rather than regular cleaning. Tell us about them on the quote form and we will look at them on the first visit.
